Patricia is a legal and trade consultant with ALP East Africa. She is highly regarded as a trade expert, and a Commercial and Corporate lawyer. She is highly experienced in capital markets, insurance, pensions, Islamic Finance, Trade Finance, Trade Law and Policy.
Patricia holds a Masters of Science in International Trade Law and Policy from Lund University School of Economics and Management and Trapca. She also holds a Bachelor of Law Degree (LL. B) and Bachelor of Arts(BA) in international Studies from the University of Leeds and Certificate in Trade Finance from International Chamber of Commerce
Previously, Patricia served as a Director at Oraro and Company Advocates in the corporate and commercial division. She also served as a Legal and Compliance Manager, First Community Bank, where she was part of the team that structured the first Sharia’h compliant Collective Investment scheme and corporate sukuk. She began her career as a lawyer at the State Law Office where she was part of the team that successfully negotiated the East Africa Community Treaty.
