Lastone is currently the Practice Director at ALP Advocates at the Uganda office of ALP East Africa. He specializes in Trade and Investment law, Corporate and Commercial Law Practice, Regional Integration, Intellectual Property, Immigration law and Alternative Dispute Resolution. He continues to be regarded as a rising star in the field of Dispute Resolution particularly in advising on arbitration and mediation practices in high value commercial transactions.
Lastone is a passionate educator, actively involved in mentoring young lawyers and is also a Junior Lecturer at Law at the Faculty of Law, Uganda Christian University. He is in charge of continued learning exercises for ALP Advocates and regarded as one of the most appreciated advocates for policy in the region through several of his publicized publications.
He holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB)Degree from Uganda Christian
University in Mukono and a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal Practice from the Law Development Centre in Kampala.
